We could not be more excited that the holiday season is here! While the snow may not yet be falling here in beautiful British Columbia, we hope that it feels like the holidays wherever you are reading this from.
Here at Prizm, we are getting into the holiday spirit, and having a great time doing it. Last week was our annual staff holiday dinner, and a great time was had by all. We are also looking forward to the first ever Prizm Media “Secret Santa” gift swap! Thoughtful gifts are filling up our lunchroom as we speak!
“Year at a Glance”
It’s been quite a year here at Prizm Media, and this month we would end 2014 by highlighting some of our favourite moments and biggest successes of the year.
The year started off with a bang, as March saw Prizm being recognized as one of the Top 25 Private Companies as part of the Rocket Builder’s “Ready to Rocket” ICT List. The Ready to Rocket List is a unique one, as it identifies the technology companies in B.C. with the greatest potential for growth. It was a huge honor to be recognized among our peers within the technology sector, and we’re going to work hard to stay on the list in 2015!
A few months later, in June, Prizm was recognized by PROFIT 500, who ranked our company #52 on their list of Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies. Needless to say, this was a huge award for everyone at Prizm. It showed that all of the hard work being done here had made a difference, not only in the growth of our clients, but in the growth of our business as well.
As if that wasn’t enough good news for the year, September proved to be a huge month for our founders, Zeeshan and Karina Hayat. Within weeks, Zeeshan was named to Business in Vancouver’s annual “Forty Under 40” list, and Karina was recognized by PROFIT and Chatelaine’s W100 as #45 on their list of Canada’s Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs. These are two incredible achievement and we could not be more proud of Zeeshan and Karina for their accomplishments.
Of course, there was more to 2014 than just awards. This year, we had a ton of awesome staff outings, saw our CEO Zeeshan get out and speak as part of a number of fantastic panels and sessions, and continued to grow our family here at Prizm Media.
We are so thankful for all of the success we experienced in 2014, and could not be more appreciative of how lucky we are to work with such amazing clients and publishers day in and day out. On behalf of all the staff here at Prizm, we wish you the very best this holiday season and are so excited to hit the ground running and make 2015 Prizm’s best year yet!
